2nd gear?

Is it me or did humanity just got into second gear?
I tell ya, life has never been so good since I realized that I'm going to die.
Death is the one thing that gives life meaning.
I'm sure some people reading this, are thinking: "Do you have cancer? Are you terminally ill?"
No! I don't have cancer. We are ALL going to die :)

Did you ever notice, when on a trip somewhere like Europe, or the Caribbean, anywhere fun, that you usually meet the cool people a few days before you have to go back home. I mean, you can spend 2 weeks there, trying to connect, but nothing. And then, 2 days before your flight back, you meet someone really interesting.
Ever wondered why this happens?
I think, you start relaxing. You give up, you stop trying so hard. There are no more expectations. You are free. And then it comes. It comes naturally.
I think, life is the same way. You start relaxing when you see that it will end. All of the sudden, the colors are brighter, you notice minute details, overlooked by the noises in your head.
"I need to lose weight, I'm too fat!"
"I must get the latest car, mine's a piece of crap!"
"What will THEY think of me?"
Does any of this matters?
Life is great, drink it!
