New

Ok, so I had a good Thanksgiving with my really good friend Latchi. I love her dearly. I ate too much, of course and also drank too much and I had a lot of fun. I really enjoy this Bulgarian family. The next day, I decided to quit drinking alcohol, eating meat, eating bread, eating butter, eating sugar and drinking coffee. I feel great! I started meditating again and I looking a safe Yoga routine that's easy for my back. I've deciced not to do a show in December. I'll just let the pieces decide when the show will be. Maybe I'll just have a show in Barcelona or Berlin. That would be great.
Anyway, I enjoy my cats and all is well.

Pointless

It was pointless to share. It only brings back old habbits...time to move on.

The start of a new series

So this is my new stuff. Although this is a commissioned piece it gives you a hit of the direction I've taken.
Texture, texture, texture.
I'm planning on having at least 3 times as much texture as this one.
This is a close up of the middle pannel.

The Zen of Sarcasm

 01. Do not walk behind  me, for I may not lead.
Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow.
Do not  walk beside me either.
Just pretty much leave me alone.

02.  The journey of a  thousand miles begins
with a broken fan belt and leaky tire.

03. It's always darkest  before dawn.
So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the  time to do it.

 04.  Don't be  irreplaceable.
If you can't be  replaced, you can't be promoted.

05.  Always remember that  you're unique.
         Just like everyone else.

06. Never test the depth  of the water with both feet.

07. If you think nobody  cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.

08. Before you criticize  someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize  them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

09. If at first you  don't succeed, skydiving is probably not for you.

10. Give a man a fish  and he will eat for a day.
Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat  and drink beer all day.

11. If you lend someone  $20 and never see that person again,
it was probably a wise  investment.

12. If you tell the  truth, you don't have to remember anything.

13. Some days you're the  bug; some days you're the windshield.

14. Everyone seems  normal until you get to know them.

15. The quickest way to  double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your  pocket.

16. A closed mouth  gathers no foot.

17. Duct tape is like  'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe  together.

18. There are two  theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.

19. Generally speaking,  you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.

20.  Experience is  something you don't get until just after you need it.

21. Never miss a good  chance to shut up.
         AND
 22. Never, under any  circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same  night.

Beautiful dream

I go to Alain's house [Caprice]. It looks like a bungaloo. I walk in and hang around for a while. We're supposed to go out somewhere, I'm waiting for him to get ready. I walk down the hall where I hear some noise. I go to the window and I look down at this amizing beauty. I'm up 6 storys and right on the shore. I can see the big blue ocean immediately under me and there are HUGE fish just swiming and having fun. When I say HUGE I mean HUGE. I though they were whale but they weren't mammals. One of them did one quick move of the tail and was miles away. I was in awe in front of this beauty and strength. They almost looked like needle fish but giants. I tried to look at the mouth of one of them and it looked like a prehistoric fish. I then looked down and I see that it's a hotel. There are people on the floor below looking down as well. I say "isn't this beautiful?". They agree. It was David Wechsler. I walk back and look around at the different rooms in the place. You can tell it was done by a very creative person. The hotel doesn' have a beach per say and it's located somewhere hidden where noone would want to be. There are many rooms in the place. I walk back and Alain is getting dressed. I walk outside because I wanted to take a closer look at the pool. It was huge but there was something odd. In the deeper end of it there was, underwater, a jacuzzi. I just didnn't understand what a jacuzzi was doing under water. Alain tells my that the owner is a gay man and I say "of course, only a gay man could have so much taste". I walk to the shore, there are people swimming and I see so many fish, it was amazing and they were all coming so close to the shore. I had nothing to feed them with so I go back to the place to get some bread or something. N'djamena and her friend [dont' know] were at the place. On the table I find, bread, cake and boxes and boxes of yellow crystals like they were grown right out of the box. They were all aligned like a tray of wheatgrass, you know?

Another dream

Alain [Fiston] is driving the car. Dominique, Kian and I are in it. We get to a point where there will be traffic. I don't know this place. It's completely foreign to me. We take a detour on the left. Kian and I get out to find out, on foot, if there is another way. We get to this peer like building and we walk and walk until we reach somekind of corner.
I can see the water. We're six story's up. I hear a gun shot. There is chaos. I grab Kian and get closer to the window. I see the ocean's surface and I think that if trouble comes into the room, we jump. I can see across to the other window. I see two white men, older. One of them is holding his left shoulder. He's bleeding from the gun shot. I can see the bleeding hole. He's holding the gun thought. He looks down and throws the gun into the ocean.

Momenta - Necklace videocam I WANT IT!!!

The Momenta PC is a finalist in Microsoft’s Next-Gen PC Design Competition that you strap to your neck. Momenta necklace isn’t a whole lot more refined, but at least it’s a touch less noticeable. It’s got a camera that’s constantly recording what’s in front of you, but it also measures your pulse rate. When you get excited about something, it automatically saves the previous five minutes’ footage for you to review later...[ Click on the title or here for more about this article ]

Meeeeeeh.... [click here for the rest of the story]

Cool! I thought of Jerry.

This is how I feel today.

I woke up early today, even before the sun. There was something in the air. I got up and looked out my window and that's when I saw it, the rain. It was coming like a blanket of haze. I quickly closed the window and went on the covered patio. I laid atop the table with a blanket and pillow as I watched this raging thunder and lighting show express its beauty on the sky's screen. It was wonderful. I laid there for more than an hour as I watched the sun trying to pierce the clouds.
I was analysing the shapes and color to try to capture this beauty on a canvas but then I stopped. I chose to stop and just watch the show without any intent on copying or saving or anything else. It was complete and so was I.

Personal Year 7...a time for analysis and understanding

This is my year:
A 7 personal year promises to be a very introspective year, a period of some pause and reflection between very active years in your life. This year should provide you with some time for gaining some understanding of yourself, and you are apt to spend a good bit of time in contemplation. It will be good for you to spend time alone or in quiet activities, as free from outside responsibilities as possible. You should try to get away from business pressures. This is a good year to reflect on the past and plan for the future. This will not tend to be a year of action, but rather a year of waiting and development. One of the most profitable activities in with to engage during a personal year 7 is that of study and writing, for your ability to think clearly, analyze, and integrate your thoughts is peaked now. Your capacity for research and understanding is at its very best. It would not be unusual for you to take on an appearance of coolness and detachment during a 7 year. Certainly, it is best for you to focus your attention on your talents and your skills in an effort to use the time you have now to refine them. Perhaps you can find the time to gain more education, or simply spend free time in reflection and meditation.

Guess who???

I'll give you a hint: It's Bill and Hillary Clinton. Hee, hee, hee.

)I would give credit for this image but I forgot where I got it.(

Weird dream with flower hands

I saw n'djamena. She was with her new beau.
He looked just like Alain
when he was young.
I went up to them.
It was a group.
I go to kiss her hello. She leans back and gives me her hand. I go to shake it in confusion. They all make weird sounds like making fun of me. Then her beau and her make me place my hand [right hand] palm up, fingers closed, pointing at the sky.
Then they make this weird sound like a river or the wind, some kind of hissing sound.
As they all look at my hand, they make me understand that I should start opening my fingers slowly.
When they're open, half way open, with a movement that looks like birds drinking out of a lake,
they use their hands with pointed fingers and dip them into my hand like they're drinking out of it.
Everyone was making a gulp, gulp, gulp sound, and it seemed like they were telling me that this is the new way to say hello, you know...new hand shake?
The end.

Old Man Rock

This is still "La Soufrière", the bottom of the crater. We still have 1 hour to the top.
My foot is on Old Man Rock's forehead.
Do you see it?
This formation is due to a smaller rock falling on this one thus splitting it in three.

This one sold in Paris

So a friend of mine brought this painting in Paris with her and sold it. Yeah!!!
I need the $ or should I say €€€ because I get paid in Euros :)
I wish the photo could show you the true colors of the painting... It doesn't do it justice.
I need a new digital camera. Mine is shot (get it? ha, ha, ha). The one I really want is the Canon powershot A630. I love it!
Can you buy it for me? Pleeeease.
It's on my wish list from Amazon.

I'm claiming this one!!!

Yeah! This is my precious... mine, mine, all mine. Such a beautiful place...and what a handsome guy. We saw a young eel in the rock. It was so pretty. I spent the day diving off and climbing back again...a well spent day I say.

La Soufrière

This is "La Soufrière", the live volcano on my home of Guadeloupe. The last time it erupted was in 1976. This white smoke you see is sulfur gazes coming out of one of the craters. The smell is toxic but I like it. It took about 1 1/2 hour to hike up there and I thought I was going to lose a lung. Although painful sometimes, the hike was well worth it. We were higher than the clouds.
