AkaChique Gallery

So I put up some of my paintings in chique gallery. It's a wonderful place in Arnold, yes Arnold! This little place is booming with constructions everywhere. They can't build the houses fast enough.I met with Sue, a wonderful lady that has this gallery that would stand up to any gallery in St. louis. There are 2 levels and a variety of artwork displayed. You should check it out some time.

ARt D. party update

The party last night was awesome!!!Loved it! There was a nude model with paint all over her posing as the many artists in the room were doing sketches of her.The art works were great. Ambience wonderful, free beer, wine and food. A lot of happy people hanging together. Thanks to Katia, Aurelie, Virginie and all other friends that attended. I greatly enjoyed your company.I met some interesting people too. I met 2 girls that actually were in Guadeloupe, and they loved it!Dominique and Virginie dance while everyone watched. I wish I had a digital camcorder this way I could post the clip here.Life is good to me...I'm trully blessed.
If you missed this event, you're not going to want to miss the next one. It's the grand opening of ArtDimensions in the St. Louis Center on May 13, 2005. I 've seen the place and it looks great! Art everywhere and lot's of space plus it's right on Washington Ave.
Well Earthday is around the corner...actually tomorrow. I might play some drums there. I was thinking of doing henna but I don't have any more paste. Do and I will ride ours bikes. I hope it's going to be nice. Last year it was cold and rainny.

Fontbonne University

So I registered for classes today at Fontbonne University . I'm not too happy about taking Math, Science, Government, and all that crap but I'm really happy that I'll be able to take a painting class with Victor Wang. I'm really excited. I'm also done redesigning my website. I wanted to have everything on one page.I'm having a bit of an issue with these art galleries. They are charging 40%. That's crazy. If this is a regular retail mark up then they should buy the work and then charge whatever they want. My dilema is that I'd like to show my stuff in these galleries but it also means that I have to take a pay cut or have the gallery try to sell it at a high price. It also means that I can't sell it online...crap! Too much to think about. Anyone has an idea?Ok enough of that crap.

Cafe Suada

last night I went out with some friends, had a great time but then I did something stupid: I ordered a "cafe suada" and this one was an extra large. I don't really drink coffee and it was about 9pm. Needless to say that when it was time for bed I had a hard time keeping my heart from pounding in my ears so I did the next stupid thing which is to take 2 allergy medicine because it usually puts me to sleep well I took the wrong dose. I was suppose to take 1 every 12 hours...I took 2 at once. I thought I was going to die. It's 11pm the next day and I'm now starting to come out of my coma.
I went downtown St. Louis a couple of days ago and I was shocked...It looks just like a real city. It was great I met some nice people. I rode my bike everywhere.
