June will be tricky...
Oh boy! June is going to be tricky. By the way, my birthday is June 9th. Well I have to come up with 20 paintings by the 31th of May for the Hartford Coffee openning (the actual opening will be Sunday June 12th from 1 to 4pm), 5 more for Gallerie M by mid June and I was hoping to have a few pieces more for this thing in Colorado. Kurt lives there and there's this block party where tons of people will be walking the streets and buying stuff. If I get some money, I'm outta here. I'd like to go to Cabanas Copal in Tulum, actually I'd rather go to Azulik which is right next door. It's this wonderful clothing optional, no electric (except in the restaurant and bar), candlelight everywhere and the cabanas are right on the beach. I can't wait!...I guess I can :).

Thugs in Suits
Sooooo I'm walking through a parking lot and I'm stopped by these thugs in suits. They wanted the wallet that I had just found, it was fat with cash. Before I could think, my partner jumped in front of me which allowed me to crawl underneath the brown car to my right. As I'm on the ground I open the wallet and stuff the many wads of $100 bills in my pocket. It wasn't an easy task but I managed just fine :). I was then on the 3rd floor of our appartment that I couldn't recognize, you had just finished cleaning and rearanged my room. You left a package on the 3rd to last step of the stairs leading to the kitchen where 2 other people were waiting for me to go out. Before we left I drank half a bottle of brandy. It went down like lemonade and I thought that if the cops pulled me over I'd go staight to jail. A moment later, we were on the side sidewalk in town, it was rainning and grey. We took off our clothes and had sex. No one was around. It would have been a good show.

I had a blast!!!
I HAD A BLAST!!! I really had fun last night. I had 2 art openings with my stuff in it and I sold 2 paintings. Great, I can pay my mortgage now. yeah! The opening at "Chique Gallery" was a lot more fun than the one from ArtDimension. It also seemed like the people at Chique where there to buy whereas the people from ARtD seemed to be friends of the numerous artists that displayed there.Either way I had fun and then we went to 609 on Eastgate in the loop to have a hookah and some wine and then we went to a friends house that had a BBQ. We met this lovely Indian girl and talked all night at ArtD, she was fun.

AkaChique Gallery
So I put up some of my paintings in chique gallery. It's a wonderful place in Arnold, yes Arnold! This little place is booming with constructions everywhere. They can't build the houses fast enough.I met with Sue, a wonderful lady that has this gallery that would stand up to any gallery in St. louis. There are 2 levels and a variety of artwork displayed. You should check it out some time.
ARt D. party update
The party last night was awesome!!!Loved it! There was a nude model with paint all over her posing as the many artists in the room were doing sketches of her.The art works were great. Ambience wonderful, free beer, wine and food. A lot of happy people hanging together. Thanks to Katia, Aurelie, Virginie and all other friends that attended. I greatly enjoyed your company.I met some interesting people too. I met 2 girls that actually were in Guadeloupe, and they loved it!Dominique and Virginie dance while everyone watched. I wish I had a digital camcorder this way I could post the clip here.Life is good to me...I'm trully blessed.
If you missed this event, you're not going to want to miss the next one. It's the grand opening of ArtDimensions in the St. Louis Center on May 13, 2005. I 've seen the place and it looks great! Art everywhere and lot's of space plus it's right on Washington Ave.
Well Earthday is around the corner...actually tomorrow. I might play some drums there. I was thinking of doing henna but I don't have any more paste. Do and I will ride ours bikes. I hope it's going to be nice. Last year it was cold and rainny.

Fontbonne University
So I registered for classes today at Fontbonne University . I'm not too happy about taking Math, Science, Government, and all that crap but I'm really happy that I'll be able to take a painting class with Victor Wang. I'm really excited. I'm also done redesigning my website. I wanted to have everything on one page.I'm having a bit of an issue with these art galleries. They are charging 40%. That's crazy. If this is a regular retail mark up then they should buy the work and then charge whatever they want. My dilema is that I'd like to show my stuff in these galleries but it also means that I have to take a pay cut or have the gallery try to sell it at a high price. It also means that I can't sell it online...crap! Too much to think about. Anyone has an idea?Ok enough of that crap.

Cafe Suada
last night I went out with some friends, had a great time but then I did something stupid: I ordered a "cafe suada" and this one was an extra large. I don't really drink coffee and it was about 9pm. Needless to say that when it was time for bed I had a hard time keeping my heart from pounding in my ears so I did the next stupid thing which is to take 2 allergy medicine because it usually puts me to sleep well I took the wrong dose. I was suppose to take 1 every 12 hours...I took 2 at once. I thought I was going to die. It's 11pm the next day and I'm now starting to come out of my coma.
I went downtown St. Louis a couple of days ago and I was shocked...It looks just like a real city. It was great I met some nice people. I rode my bike everywhere.
